Three finishes
Identical inside. Entirely different to live with.
Obsidian, Pearl and Stardust Chrome share the same intelligence. The case material is the only decision that changes how it feels on your wrist.

Absorbs light rather than reflecting it
Obsidian
Obsidian is the quiet one. The case is bead-blasted before a vapour-deposited coating goes on, which leaves a surface that scatters light instead of throwing it back at the room. In a meeting it disappears under a cuff. In direct sun it stays legible because the coating stops the reflections that normally wash a display out.

Ceramic that will outlive the electronics inside it
Pearl
Pearl is fired at 1,400°C and then polished by hand across nine stages, which is why it takes eleven days to make one case. Ceramic is harder than steel and will not discolour, so the watch you unbox is the watch you will be wearing in a decade. It is the heaviest of the three by four grams, and the only one that warms to the skin.

Reserve Pearl
A mirror finish with a fleck of iridescence
Stardust Chrome
Stardust is the one people notice. A dichroic flake suspended in the final coat shifts from cold silver to a faint violet depending on where the light is coming from, so the case never looks the same twice. It is the most demanding finish we make and the reason this model costs fifty dollars more than the other two.

Materials
Four materials, chosen for one reason each
Nothing here was picked because it photographs well. Every material earns its place by outlasting the alternative.
Grade 5 titanium
Milled in Solothurn, Switzerland
Forty per cent lighter than steel at the same strength, and it will not react with skin. Each case starts as a solid billet and loses 84% of its mass to the cutter.
Zirconia ceramic
Fired in Seto, Japan
Sintered at 1,400°C, then diamond-polished. It is harder than hardened steel, which means it resists scratches from keys, stone and sand almost indefinitely.
Sapphire crystal
Grown in Rubtsovsk, Russia
A single synthetic crystal, cut and lapped to 0.9 mm. Nine on the Mohs scale — only diamond marks it.
Recycled rare earths
Recovered in Rotterdam, Netherlands
The magnets in the kinetic rotor are made entirely from reclaimed neodymium taken out of decommissioned wind turbines.
Fit
Two sizes, and a way to be sure
Measure around the flat part of your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, then compare against the ranges below.
Shown to relative scale.
41 mm
Wrists 140–170 mm
The proportionally correct choice for most wrists. Sits fully within the flat of the wrist so nothing overhangs the bone.

- 1.5 in
Between two sizes? Take the smaller one. Straps are interchangeable without a tool, and we exchange the case free within 60 days if the fit is wrong.
Side by side
Identical inside. Entirely different to live with.
Every model shares the same neural engine, sensor array and energy system. What changes is the material, and material is what you feel every day.

Obsidian
“I wanted something that would not announce itself in a courtroom. Nobody has asked me about it once, which is exactly what I was hoping for.”
Priya Raghunathan
Barrister, Melbourne
Pearl
“Two years of ceramic clinking against granite countertops and there is not a single mark on it. I have stopped being careful.”
Lukas Behr
Pastry chef, Vienna
Stardust
“The colour shift is subtle enough that you only catch it in the corner of your eye. It has never once felt like a gimmick.”
